Dorothy. W. Dickie of Bangor, North Wales. Died Monday 17th March 2025
Dorothy was a Wren Officer at Southwick House in 1944 and very much involved with the D-Day story as a Wren Coder and remembers seeing Sir Winston Churchill and General Eisenhower who used to call her ” The Little Welsh Girl.” She was married to Mr John. S. Dickie of Tarbert, Argyll and had two Sons J. Malcolm Dickie and Andrew Dickie.
Dorothy passed away on the Monday of March the 17th 2025 aged 102 at the “Cerrig-yr-Afon” Nursing Home in Port-Dinorwic
