I served for 22 years from 76 to 98, ending my career as a Chief Wren Writer, the last 3 years working for Naval Barristers in HMS DRAKE dealing with disciplinary matters and Courts Martial. I have been working in the legal world ever since. I am Personal Assistant to the Director of a very successful personal injury practice joining the firm just over 10 years ago. I served as a Trustee previously for 6 years some time ago and I would very much like the opportunity to serve as a Trustee again. I think it’s important that the Association goes forward in a cohesive and positive way, and I believe the teamwork of the Trustees, Chairman and President will enable this to happen, continuing the inclusiveness of past Wrens and current serving ladies and encouraging members to meet up where possible at various events so that the camaradarie and esprit de corps enjoyed by all can be a force for good in order that the Association can stride successfully on into the future.
