I joined the WRNS as a Stenographer in 1965, serving on FONAC staff, HMS Daedalus, Pembroke and Condor. Left on marriage and took up a second career in law where I specialised in personal injury. Now I volunteer as a SSAFA caseworker, tour guide with the Mary Rose museum in the historic dockyard at Portsmouth as well as working for Portsmouth City as an Ambassador. Main hobbies are genealogy and archaeology with special interest in Shipwrecks around the UK. Enjoy time spent with the AOW at branch meetings and meeting up with friends. I have been privileged to be Portsmouth Branch Chair and now their President.
