Jean Charlton  15.05.31 – 17.08.02 ( later to become Parker then return to her maiden name )

Born at home in Easington Lane County Durham , one of 8 siblings. Jean enlisted 1949 to 1953 serving with HMS Dauntless, Victory, Caledonia, Gannet, Drake and RNH Haslar. Re enlisted 1955 to 1957 stationed in Malta for a period of time at Whitehall Mansions. She married in late 1957 to Ronald Parker from South Shields. Jean had three children and eight grandchildren when she left us.

Married life took her from Easington Lane up the road to South Hetton , then over to Ouston in County Durham before moving to Washington Tyne and Wear in 1975 and remaining there for the rest of her life. Always a keen gardener and loved her family and dogs very much. Worked full time up until retirement age and always found time to help others while working full time and raising a family. Still to this day greatly missed and much loved by many.  Simon Parker ( youngest son )
