Update re Wren Magazine

The Spring edition of THE WREN is expected to arrive at your door this week.  A huge thank you must go to Lin Burton for her work in getting the finished proof to the printers before moving to home working and it is unfortunate that due to delays in both the printers and distribution centre, together with Easter and Royal Mail disruption, that there has been a delay. Included in the magazine are nomination and application forms, which were drawn up before lockdown and therefore don’t give advice on how to proceed with social distancing. 

In the present climate there has to be a degree of uncertainty as to whether the Edinburgh weekend will go ahead but do still complete the application forms and post to HQ so that we can gauge the level of interest and keep your application on file if the event is postponed; if the application for the Gala Dinner on 3 October is missing on the reverse of the event details form please contact the office on [email protected] for a copy, or download from the website, once the magazine has been received. 

We also appreciate that getting Chairman and Trustee nomination forms signed by proposers and seconders will be difficult, forms can be submitted with printed names of appropriate members having first sought their approval to do so.

We hope you enjoy the magazine and do please send in your articles for the Summer edition, especially “What Wrens get up to in Lockdown!”
