Applications for Trustees for the Association of Wrens and Women of the Royal Naval Services are now open!

We are looking for 5 new trustees to primarily ensure governance of the Association but also to help operationally run our organisation, drive forward looking operating plans that support and are aligned to the needs and expectations of all our members.

Previous Trustee experience is not essential, we would particularly welcome applications from under represented areas such as current serving members or those from the wider naval service. What is essential is commitment, energy and a desire to help shape our Association for the future whilst continuing to support our existing members. A common misconception is that only those who joined before November 1993 are eligible to join. The Association welcomes all serving and former women of the Royal Naval Services, which includes WRNS, RN, QARNNS, RN/WRNR, RFA and RM.

For our trustee volunteer roles, desirable skills, interests and experience might include (but not limited to): Finance, Social Media, Sales and Marketing, PR & Communications, IT or Event Organisation. Above all, regardless of what skills you might bring, is a desire to ensure that our Association continues to grow, be vibrant, relevant and fun.
