BBC Festival of Remembrance 2021 are researching and making a short film marking 30 years since Operation Granby.
The BBC is really keen to speak to any First Gulf War Wren Veterans who are comfortable talking about their responsibilities and experiences during the conflict – PARTICULARLY IN THEATRE ONBOARD BRILLIANT OR INVINCIBLE.
The BBC is aware of the Wrens contribution to the conflict on HMS Brilliant and Invincible and would like to reflect this.
If anyone would like to take part in this research, please contact Jessica on 07922 407749.
Jessica is working to a very short deadline, and really needs to speak with veterans before 1st October 2021.
Please note – this is for research at this stage, not necessarily to appear on film yourself.
