On This Day….
On This Day in 1999 the last Royal Navy Command Field Gun competition took place at the final Royal Tournament at Earls Court. The winners were HMNB Devonport. A much reduced version of the sport is still run at HMS Collingwood as the annual RNRMC Trophy.
