Important Information Regarding Remembrance Sunday March At Cenotaph

Due to Covid-19 the traditional Muster and March Past at the Cenotaph has been seriously curtailed. We have been allocated 8 tickets with the criteria that preference be given to those who served during the Second World War, or have served on Military Operations. Any Branch or IG who has a member within the VE/VJ criteria is asked to speak to their member first to ascertain whether they would be physically able, and would like, to attend. If there are more than 8, including the carer – who could be an AOW member – then names will be drawn out of a hat.

Please let the office know by Wednesday 22nd September, including the name of a carer if necessary by email to [email protected] . Please do NOT book accommodation or make travel arrangements yet and you are asked NOT to phone the office. At the moment we do not have any further information and it may be that due to Covid-19 the Parade has to be cancelled at short notice.

The office will advise you as soon as the selection has been made – if there are any changes to the parade it will be emailed out and put on both our website and Facebook as soon as we are made aware of them by the RBL.
