DESCRIPTION:We hope to mark Remembrance Sunday this year at the Stone of Remembrance\, City Chambers\, Edinburgh . DESCRIPTION:THE APPLICATION FOR THIS EVENT HAS NOW CLOSED \nThe annual Service of Remembrance and March-Past at the Cenotaph will take place this year on Sunday 14 November 2021. \nTickets to take part are available for current Association members only. The list to apply for a ticket will open on Monday 5 July and close on Monday 23 August. During this time application forms will be available here via the website (www.wrens.org.uk) or by calling the office on 02392 725141. \nCompleted forms\, together with an A5 sized SAE (minimum please) should be returned to office to arrive no later than 23 August. Please send to: \nThe Association of Wrens \nBuilding 1/87 Scott Road\, HM Naval Base Portsmouth\, Hampshire PO1 3LU \nAvailability of tickets will depend upon the Association’s allocation from the Royal British Legion. In the case of tickets being oversubscribed they will be awarded on a lottery type basis. Please note that priority will be given to those members who have not previously attended this event. \nYou will be notified of the outcome of your application via email by 3 September 2021. SUMMARY:WOW Dover to Deal Walk
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce that this walk will take place\, as we want to kick start the Wrens Out Walking events\, as and when restrictions allow us to. \nThis event was due to take place last year\, but sadly\, as with many things\,  Coronavirus stopped this happening. \nTo ensure the safety of our members\, and to keep in line with the COVID rules\, the decision has been made to limit this trial walk to just 12 walkers.    To date\, all the spaces have been filled.  However\, if restrictions ease\, we will look see if it is possible to increase the number of walkers.   Keep an eye on this page! \nWe will of course post up some photos and we hope that if all goes well with this “trial” walk\, we can pave the way for future years where we can fully embrace the previous plans to meet with the Admiral of the Cinque Ports and the RM Band celebrations at Deal.
