Commemoration of SS Aguila

This year marks the 80^th anniversary of the sinking of the SS Aguila, on 19 August, with the loss of 21 Wrens and 1 QARNNS.

There is a Memorial Bench in Scarborough, and the York Branch arrange a short Service there every other year.  Due to space constraints, etc., it’s not possible to make more of this Service – however, that presents then an opportunity for the wider Association

Attached is a Suggestion Order of Service – or just say a few words whilst remembering them.
