I joined the WRNS in September 1981 as a Wtr(G) in the first cohort of Wrens to join at HMS Raleigh.  I went on to serve at Pembroke, Centurion, Flag Officer Plymouth, Drake and CTCRM.   After leaving the WRNS, I started working for the NHS and my final few years were working as a Business Change Manager for Mental Health (CAMHS).
I am currently the Website Manager for AOW which has proved very interesting!
I live in Cornwall with my husband who I met at HMS Drake bop in 1983!  We have two grown-up girls and two grandchildren. I also volunteer for Blind Veterans UK and Last Chance Hotel Animal Sanctuary.
